The Bathtub Blues Team is looking for its last actress! We are a young, female led team embarking on an Adventure to the south of France to shoot a feature film. Our base is in Amsterdam, from which we start and also arrive back to (a pick-up/drop-off in Paris is also possible).
This film revolves around six theatre actors whose company undergoes a change of directorship, leaving them with soon-to-end contracts. As they embark on a last holiday together, old and new feelings fight their way to the surface and confront the friends with an uncertain future in which they have to decide whether their lives still make sense together.
Our cinematography is inspired by Chantal Akerman and pays tribute to her work just in time for her masterpiece's 50th anniversary.

Description
We are looking for an actress to play Esther (playing age 20-26 years). Esther is one of the youngest members of an international theatre company in France. Together with five of her friends/co-workers (Teo, Sammy, Charlene, Noah, and Dino) she takes a trip to the mountains after learning that the ensemble's contracts will be terminated soon. During the trip, she faces multiple challenges, such as the presence of her ex-girlfriend Charlene (F, 29), and her unexpected feelings for Noah (F,24).

You fit this part well if you:
- Fit the age description
- Have acting experience
- Have the possibility to come to Paris for a couple of days of rehearsal this June (travel expenses not covered but sleeping place provided)
- Ideally live in/near Amsterdam or Paris (just more convenient, but not strictly necessary)
- Are open to create social connections with your fellow cast members and crew
- Are comfortable with kissing women on-screen

A driver's license is a bonus! BIPOC women are strongly encouraged to apply. Any additional languages spoken are welcomed and may be included into the narrative. Speaking French is NOT necessary for this project.
